In times like these, it's very easy to be overcome with stress and fear. I made this to remind myself that many before us have weathered #storms and survived the worst. I've been inspired by seeing my communities step up and extend their help through these trying times. There's plenty to keep us afraid, so from here on out, I want to send out hope and love with every post.

Storms

When I lived in New York City, I was denying that I was depressed. That trauma that came from having everything I worked for (career and relationship) collapse all at once, made me go inward and isolate myself. I imagine a lot of people are going through that in this time of quarantine. It took me a while to get my bearings reset my scarcity mindset to that of growth. In these uncertain times, it's imperative for us to be present to what is here rather than what could be. #ThisCityLife that many of us live, is hard enough as it. But with compassion and gratitude, we can find ways to work through it, together.
