Inspired by the 80s, the era everyone's nostalgic about but many didn't grow up in (including myself). Welcome to OCEAN DRIVE—my first instrumental synthwave album, comprising of 6 outrun-themed beats soaked in glowing gradients of pink and blue. Fat vintage synths (no, not THOSE synths) and the beloved LinnDrum are in the forefront of this unnerving mix of upbeat and borderline depressing tracks inspired by the music and the cinema of 40 years ago. The entire album follows a consistent theme and instrumentation while putting a unique spin on every song. Slick your hair back, put on some tacky clothes and roller skate past the neon-lit art deco decadence into the dystopian retrofuture!
