Hailing from Sendai in the land of the rising sun, KMG aka Kentaro Kumagai has a natural affinity for music, and has been an avid collector of vinyl records for decades.

Moving to Hanoi in 2016, KMG has quickly shifted his focus to dance music, especially diving into the terrain of House and Techno. He takes inspiration from a wide range of sounds, textures and tempos. While his selection bestows him a unique yet eccentric mixing technique, his sets are a testament to his dedication and expertise, showcasing his ability to craft immersive and captivating experiences for his audience.

His contributions to the underground music community in Hanoi have been instrumental in its growth and development. After relocating to Bangkok in 2023, KMG remains active in the Asian region and joins forces with the Hong Kong based sound collective - Cipher.

While putting this mix together, @elsa-9-9 discovered that her collection could be split into two parts: on one side, the tech and progressive house of the 90s and 00s, and on the other, the newer, deeper techno and bass. In this mix, she brings these two elements together seamlessly, creating a cohesive journey that's both driving and uplifting with moments of depth and darkness.

I recorded this mix sitting on the carpet of my partner and I's new home, pulling out some old records and enjoying the comfort of our new living room which now also houses my custom green monitors. Sundays to me have a naturally relaxed and positive vibe and it's the same day that I throw my event 'Park Dub'. The music at Park Dub is generally a mixture of electronic dub tracks and more rootsy dub reggae but I usually tell the DJ's playing that 'anything with enough reverb and delay is fine', haha. I tried to capture the spirit of Park Dub in the mix.

宀 (pronounced "mihn" is the Chinese Radical 40 with a different pronunciation according countries. It has no literal meaning but can be likened to a roof or shelter. This is a place where you can express yourself freely. This place is for dancing. This is a place to learn. This is safe space where you will not be harassed, discriminated, criticised or harmed emotionally or physically. This is a place where all Races, Genders and Sexual identities are welcome. To safeguard this vision, there will be a no-photo policy applied inside the club.

宀 has been imagined by a group of music and audiophile enthusiasts who have chosen a Funktion One soundsystem in a room carefully engineered by one of the region's leading experts in acoustics.

「宀」是一個位於香港中心地帶的全新音樂場地，宗旨在於希望能夠透過精心挑選的電子音樂以及其他文化藝術活動，將人們聚集起來。這個能夠容納100人左右的場地，不只將帶來國際型的表演者，也將會成為亞太區、本地菁英的培育地。
