The sky that covers our perspective world was once perceived as something material. The sky was the edge of the limit, and we were the only divinely chosen beings in it. Now, the canopy is no longer there, the world has been stripped away, and man is exposed to emptiness and unprecedented possibilities. Perhaps the skin that covers our bodies and binds our identities to the real world, like the canopy that once covered the world of vision and concealed its infinite expanse, is an entity that can one day be severed.
