This track started out as just a rough idea with the bassline I threw a 909 kick into it and that made the foundation of the whole song, when I was looking for vocals I couldn't let go of the spanish part it just sounded too good! that is why there are 2 vocals as I had the first vocal originally, I know it's safer to have a single vocal but I like listening to it in my car the way it is lol, hopefullly you guys like it too,

Hey Guys,

Quick backstory on this one, so I had a dream one night that was very vivid saw a great white wall that I knew I was on the 'outside of' and a fair way in the distance I saw some type of being that had a female energy and its body was made of light (I want to say it had a human type shape to it) it spoke to me without using sound which I was surprised by and it said 'if you think the music you hear on earth is good.. listen to this" and it proceeded to push a tiny amount on some door in this great wall and out of the most minute gap came out the most beautiful melodic heavenly music I have ever heard in my life! all the music/sound that I have ever heard in my life paled in comparison to what I heard and it was only seconds! I woke up and thought I need to make the melody I heard but quickly realised that was impossible as the sounds were not earthly and realised they don't actually exist on this earth and our ears cannot hear them...

I thought about that dream several times for the next few years and as I sat down to create 'Give A Little Light' I wrote the lyrics based off that experience,

I started with a guitar riff and knew I wanted to try give it that 90's pop punk vibe that I listened to a lot as a teenager, I then infused that with the house / electronic element that I am familiar with and it sort of had its foundations on that,

I cannot release the vocal version to Spotify/Apple Music at the moment as my distributer will not allow any release containing AI generated vocals, I wrote the lyrics and used AI to generate a voice to sing them, I really enjoy using AI in such a creative way as I have never had the opportunity to write and create original vocals so this was pretty cool,

Ok so I found these vocals on a royalty free vocals page back in 2013 they didn't have a name so the track became 'Holding On' which was a beat I had made earlier that year I pulled the track offline a while back and mixed it all over again and in that time found out the singers name so have added into the title - now the song is back sounding really nice! just a little backstory for those who are interested :)
