Dustin Wong and I went to China and Hong Kong tour in Fall 2015. I recorded the soundscape of some of the cities in China and Hong Kong, between about 20days. Beijing, Zhengzhou, Xi'an, Chengdu, Chongquing, Wuhan, Shanghai, Hanzhou, Xiamen, Shenzhen, Guangzhou. And Hong Kong.

In Hong Kong, the last stop on the tour, we watched 'Hong Kong Trilogy' directed by Christopher Doyle. There was a record of Hong Kong Umbrella Movement, which in began 2014. I first learned about Umbrella Movement in this movie.

Here is the soundscape of some cities of China, and Hong Kong in Fall 2015. Not a daydream.

This work is like part of my 2018 diary. That year, I moved from Tokyo to Los Angeles, where it was made in the 'He Ya = room'. I found a glass tube in Los Angeles (it's just a tube, not an instrument) and started studying to make sounds using it. I'm still enamored by this muffled sound.

This song and five other songs, as my sound album, 
became one of the small paintings by Tokyo based painter Ippei Matsui, named 'Untitled' in early 2019. 
'Untitled' is Ippei's as each unique painting, and my 6 original compositions.
