DBFC, signed to Different Recordings late last year are set to release their second single for the label when they unveil ‘Autonomic’ on April 29th.

Fronted by Mancunian David Shaw and Parisian Dombrance, this Anglo-French outfit comes together as a four-way collective, not a band  as such but more a club.  Featuring  alongside the duo come  percussionist Guillaume Rossel and bassist Victor Paillet, the DBFC vision is entrenched within the French electronic music scene but, as witnessed on their debut for Different Recordings, ‘Get It All’, they succeeded in creating a sound that encompasses their multi-facetted talents.

We premiere ‘Autonomic’ today and heralds its arrival inhabiting a more dance-orientated world and whilst eschewing elements of their previous single..

Dirt Crew Recordings and Delusions of Grandeur artists Ponty Mython provides a stellar contribution to the latest release from Quartet Series (the label of one Maurits Verwoerd AKA Nachtbraker). The Vilnius producer features slow-burning deep house delight 'Lovin You Is A Pleasure' with the rising Amsterdam/Milan based imprint. It's a sensational Summer groover, we've got this one on repeat at HQ. Also featuring on the VA are Parisian Concrete resident S3A , Newcastle based producer NY * AK and Rotterdam's D-Ribeiro.

Phillipi & Rodrigo’s ‘Paciencia’ is the next taste of the Brazilian duo’s debut longplayer, recorded, produced and mixed at Studio DEEWEE. Boasting songs about the cosmos, relationships, nostalgia and signs of the Zodiac, the album, also called ‘Paciencia’, will drop early next year on DEEWEE. 

Released 9 November on all formats, ‘Paciencia’ (single) is 5 minutes of hypnotic Balearic goodness, chattering synths and a floor-skimming groove. Wrought by the hands of the Dewaele brothers, the transatlantic DEEWEEDUB sports a cunning percussive build-up before shedding its skin and heading straight for the heart of the dancefloor.
