This is Not Mixing

Again, just fillin some space on my soundcloud until I come out with some new tracks. So here's a real oldie. I wrote this back in like 7th grade, finally got around to recording it my freshman year of college (where this was also literally the first time I ever used a computer to record and boy was that an experience :p). I listen to it now and realize it sounds terrible but I still like a lot of the ideas I put into it and have some great memories from recording it. Hopefully someday I'll make an updated version, but for now I'll just stick with this one. So, I hope you enjoy Trip Cloud 9.

The first track (Should I Be Running) adds a tasteful saxophone element to the Fucked My Ex original with a tinny resonance that should make the track feel a bit alien. 

The second track (Wanted Me) features a specialized drum kit tuned to a distinct set of pitches and a tricky turntable scratch dub over the full length of the track. These notes are best enjoyed with the volume cranked up as high as the subs will tolerate. Every grain of the sample decay is curated to have depth in tone.
