She brings a raw blend of discipline and determination to her work, and her strength continues to unfold in every opportunity, forcing her to demand attention and respect for her skills in each aspect. When Splash Jam South CEO, Mr. C signed Mika Head to his camp, the focus was mainly on her singing abilities.  Although she knew she possessed this talent, he encouraged her to explore the rap genre.  Realizing how this could be the perfect strategy to expand her opportunities in the industry, Mika Head has blessed the microphone both as an emcee and R&B songstress since 2006.
She got “divine confirmation” that music is truly her calling when a royalty check mysteriously arrived from BMI in 2009, due to the placement of “Do The Damn Thing”, a  song from her first album release that appeared on the widely popular cable television show, “Bridezilla”.
Her goal is to positively touch and change the lives of many people as she can with her experiences.  Her pleasant demeanor and down-to-earth personality widen her audience demographic, allowing her to cross age and racial barriers with her diversified skill set.
