Kennst du das Gefühl, wenn du im Traum bist? Der Regen fällt sanft, und langsam bricht die Sonne durch, taucht alles in warmes Licht. Menschen kommen, baden, tanzen, verweilen – auf unserer Spielwiese, der Freikörperküste, fernab von allem. Weißt du noch damals, als Zeit noch real war? Hier scheint sie stillzustehen, als gäbe es nichts außer diesem Moment.

Ich muss gar nichts, denke ich, während die Sonne heiß auf der Haut brennt und das Wasser kühl und erfrischend ist. Ich stoße an mit ’ner Pulle Sekt, während Stimmen und Klänge sich verweben, die Luft vibriert und alles bunt und leicht wirkt. Sun Sun Fun schwebt über dem Diner, ein leiser Gruß an die Freiheit.

Ein Strandbadgefühl durchzieht den Raum, Melancholie und Freude gehen Hand in Hand. Fernab von allem – und doch ganz bei uns.

Easy cheesy kommt diese bunte Mischung ins Ohrli geflattert und macht sich's da direkt ma so richtig gemütlich am vestibulocochlearis. 
Dort eingenistet schwingen die Wellen ganz gediegen weiter zum Nervus accessorius und plötzlich beginnt der Kopf zu nicken.

Diesmal führt sie uns zu einer geheimnisvollen Festung, durch Nieselnebel, Brombeersträucher und Geschichten voller Wind, Brot und seltsamer Kreaturen. Und wie schon bei der ersten Compilation, bei der wir eine Luke unter einem Sofa fanden, war auch dieses Mal die Musik unser Kompass.

Wir hatten wieder große Lust, unsere liebsten Künstler*innen aus unserer Bubble zusammen auf eine Platte zu bringen und freuen uns sehr, dass es erneut geklappt hat. 27 Songs, 27 Türen, durch die man hören kann. Bespoke Musik connected to these fine gents through a mutual friend, Luis Rosenberg, who graced us with his fantastic, thoughtful, intricate, intelligent and thoroughly gorgeous mix last year... Bio:

Both having roots in Western Germany (or Nordrheinwestfalen, if you’re able to pronounce that), Philipp Fein and Max Schmitt found ancient techno Mecca Cologne to be their chosen home. It’s in that city where they started fruitful collaborations with like-minded beings as Johannes Klingebiel, Alma & Mater, and not least... each other. Products of said collaborations are various and colorful, be it music (of course), underground warehouse raves (the most sought after in the city), labels (namely "Ancient Future Now" and "Feines Tier“), or the opening of a new club (which will happen very soon). Keep your ears peeled for them.

The “DOWNTOWN 500 MAGAZINE” is a conceptual art project by “DOWNTOWN 500 OSLO” CREATIVE BUREAU.
DOWNTOWN 500 MAGAZINE is insipired by the free creatives in New York City in the early 80’s. The crew  of Jean-Michel Basquiat, Stephen Mangel, Patti Smith, Amanda Lepore, David La Chapelle, Greer Lankton, Joseph Nechvatal, Madona, Andy Warhol, Jim Radakovich, Nan Goldin, David Wojnarowicz, James Romberge among others.
This like-minded crew of artists, musicians, writers, experimental filmmakers, became known as the DOWNTOWN 500 NYC – a connected village of creative, ambitious and young people. They were at the vanguard, influencing the art, music and culture that would eventually white-wash the grime from the city, sanitizing it for a less intrepid but economically stronger rear…
