This 1 minute clip of music was requested by WWE and NXT to accompany a potential future talent named Daria Berenato to the ring in her future matches.  It was also requested that the music would also act as a reference to the Creed film soundtrack, starring Michael B. Jordan, with music composed by academy award-winner Ludwig Göransonn.  I went for an edgy rock sound accompanied by an organic brass/orchestral sound.  I also added some modern electronic sounds and drum kits to emphasise an urban feel, including turntables and trap beats tinged with hardcore hip-hop drums.

"Heroine" - Sports Documentary Themes

I composed this to be specifically reminiscent of Hans Zimmer's now infamously popular "epic film trailer" sound, and then decided to veer into the sounds of some of my favorite blockbuster films and genres of my childhood and young adulthood.  These include films like "E.T.", "Independence Day", "Batman Begins", and many more.  The feeling created in the beginning of the piece is the dread of an imminent threat looming over unsuspecting victims.  Then, with electronic synths and drums creating a layer of worldly percussion underneath a orchestral brass theme creates the feeling of shock and awe.

Trailer Theme -  Suspense Sci - Fi Thriller Disaster

I wrote this music to accompany a student film from an old UCLA project that included original footage from the silver age of Japanese cinema, a monster movie, that included the complete black and white film noir treatment to the film.  I was inspired by Bernard Herrmann's legendary film music to the classic film "Psycho" by Alfred Hitchcock, with it's haunting string trills and tremolos.  I imagine that this music would work well in support of independent horror productions, or games and apps, based on suspense/horror themes.

Horror Theme - Thriller Supernatural Suspense Noir

I've always enjoyed Japanese Anime, animation, and comics.  In particular, Ryuichi Sakamoto, the award winning composer and electronic music pioneer, has had an enormous influence on my personal musical tastes since I've discovered his legendary "Forbidden Colours" from the film "Merry Christmas, Mr. Lawrence", which he also starred in as the main antagonist.  This clip creates the setting of wartime feudal Japan with the feeling of a romantic separation between two lovers caused by a long and brutal war.

"Yumi's Theme" -  War Drama Romance

I composed and performed this piece live originally as a 4 handed piano composition and improvisation, and then I changed my mind midway through an improvisation on old themes from the classic Sega console game "Sonic The Hedgehog".  This was recorded in a truly ambient and magical studio in the Black Forest area of Germany.  Fans of the game may recognise that I drew heavy inspiration from the music that plays during the bonus levels of the game.  Masato Nakamura was the original composer of the music for the very first Sonic The Hedgehog game.

"Indigo Ode To Sonic(Gotta Go Fast)" - Mikael Arcangeli

I was inspired to create this by listening to the title menu music of the new NES Mini, a Nintendo game emulator that includes over 20 original NES titles along with a retro console and NES controller.  Nintendo chose to make the soundtrack to this NES Mini use literal chiptune sounds, which were some of the earliest examples of classic video game music lore.  The technology of the times were limited to only so many tones and sound FX allowed at a time for each of the console game titles of the 1980's, yet the soundtracks were always masterfully creative, and extremely catchy.  I was inspired by the music to titles such as "Super Mario Bros.", "Kirby's Adventure", and "Final Fantasy".

"Retro 8-bit 80's" Chiptune - Original Chiptune Music

This was produced for the legendary Italian singer, Francesco Napoli, as a dance remix of an Italian classic by Renato Carosone.  Me and my friend, DJ Doc Tone, produced and arranged this remix some years ago.  It's great for fans of the electro-swing genre to dance to at clubs, parties, and DJ festivals.

This was added to Pachanga's Remix Revue album, which generated rave reviews with it's mix of Reggaeton, Mamboton, Dancehall and Pop music in a very forward cover of Sting's classic "Englishman In New York".  This could be considered the Spanish language version with some very smooth and seductive vocals from Jay Del Alma, along with very rhythmically tight and verbally pristine Spanish raps from Chile's brilliant rapper, MC Sesman.

Enjoy a compilation of clips from some of my best concerts throughout my musical adventures in Europe.  Some of the locations of these recordings were either in a major studio somewhere in Germany, or a concert hall event throughout Europe.  Some of those countries include Serbia, Russia, Austria, France, and Norway.  These bring back memories for me, and I hope that the listener will feel the same.

This was a fun commercial to film alongside a stunning and talented vocalist from Germany named Jessica Houston on behalf of All Entertainment GmbH near Frankfurt, Germany.  These arrangements were created live and on the spot by the band about a half an hour or so ahead of filming.  Songs include music originally sung by the likes of Chaka Khan and Amy Winehouse, two of my favorite legendary singers.

Enjoy a recording of a young Mikael Arcangeli at a Mannheim Conservatory recording studio performing his stunningly fresh interpretation of a classic in the style of the legendary jazz piano virtuoso, Bill Evans(1929-1980).  Arranged for two pianos, Mikael Arcangeli has re-arranged one of the most popular themes of all time: Super Mario Bros. by Koji Kondo, in a fitting tribute to Kondo and Bill Evans.

Mikael Arcangeli (b. Michael Webb) is a U.S. Army veteran hailing from a military family and is one of the most diversified, multi-dimensional, and musically gifted musicians of his generation.  He currently lives near Atlanta, GA, though he has spent at least 20 years of his life abroad in Germany due to his years of military service as an Army Bandsman. Self-taught as a child, he eventually would study privately with the famous Ukrainian classical pianist Oksana Lutsyshyn and Old Dominion University professor of jazz John Toomey before earning his bachelor in film music and audio production at Full Sail University in Florida.  He also was an entertainer with Germany's famous Sweet Soul Music Revue touring extensively throughout Europe in the last 7 years with legendary artists like George McCrae, Nneka, and Stellar award-winning gospel artist Laeh Jones. As a solo pianist, he was a world record competitor for having played the longest non-stop piano recital in history at 32 hours while raising money for wounded veterans.  Michael has performed with large groups or as a soloist for dignitaries, royalty, U.S. and foreign presidents, and audiences in over 40 countries and hundreds of cities, including Paris, Moscow, and New York. With over 21 years of experience to his credit in almost every musical genre as either a soloist, musician, bandleader, or music director, Michael’s flamboyant and radiant performance style has left his audiences with a superb impression of his musical genius and exceptional passion.  Michael's years of experience have currently humbled him to a personal desire and passion to share all that he has learned and experienced with others by focusing his energies on teaching and coaching.  He is extremely proficient in many styles of music, and his teaching style is fun and easy to follow.
