Hailing from the birthplace of techno, Detroit, and raised amidst the eclectic sounds of Australia, Mika has carved out a unique space in the world of electronic music. With a passion ignited by the early '90s rave scene, Mika embraced the roles of both producer and DJ, quickly earning a reputation for his innovative and genre-defying style.

Mika masterfully fuses multiple tracks and genres in every set, transforming familiar sounds into new experiences. He artfully blends diverse elements using at least four decks, transcending the boundaries of Techno, Tech House, and House music. To Mika, good music is good, regardless of its origins or classification.

Throughout the late '90s and early 2000s, Mika shared stages with major names, becoming a staple in the vibrant rave scenes across Australia. While he has dialled back his live performances, his recent DJ set for Proton Music's radio indicates his skills behind the decks remain as sharp and compelling as ever, thrilling long-time fans and new listeners alike.

As the years progressed, Mika's focus shifted towards production, channelling his deep understanding of electronic music into creating groundbreaking tracks. His recent collaborations with Lisbon Journey Records and Tekno4Life Records add an exciting new chapter to his ever-evolving musical narrative.

As an electronics engineer, Mika has designed innovative musical instruments for large companies, blending his technical expertise with his creative vision. This unique skill set informs his approach to music production and distinguishes him in the industry as a true pioneer.

Though Mika has stepped back from the DJ booths he once frequented, his influence and presence continue to resonate. His dedication now lies in the studio, where he crafts sonic landscapes that captivate and inspire. Mika's journey is one of continuous exploration and reinvention, with each beat and melody representing a new frontier in the vast universe of electronic music. As he moves forward, Mika remains committed to pushing the limits, ensuring that his legacy as a visionary artist and innovator is felt for years to come.
