"Years ago Mike was wanting to write a gospel song and he was kinda stuck. I said look around at all the things we should be thankful for. 
This was when I was still mowing our yard. We had the sweetest neighbor who kept the blade on my mower sharpened, changed the oil and he even tied a little rag on the mower so I could check the oil. 
I loved the the sweet smell of clover when I mowed. 
I loved watching the blue birds take time about feeding their babies. Then there was all the love in our families. 
It isn’t hard to come up with a long list of our blessings in just a few minutes. 
You did it Mike! This is one of the most beautiful songs you have written."

Mike Anderson is a veteran singer/songwriter/producer with a long list of accomplishments over his musical career.  Starting as drummer with a group called "The Spyders" at age 9.  Lead singer/rhythm guitar with "The Surfers" by age 12 and lead singer/guitar/pedal steel for "Notchy Creek" by age16.  
While in Hawaii with the Air Force he played with George Strait who was stationed at Scofield Barracks and  with many other country stars that came to the island at time. 
While returning to the mainland and recording an original song at Sound Emporium Nashville he was invited to record some tracks  for legendary engineer, the late Jim Williamson.  
He has had original songs in the Top 10 of  the "Singing News"  Bluegrass chart.  Mike has written songs for other artists and  produced recordings for them.  
He's also produced music videos/songs for other artists like Greg Moses, shot videos for East Tennessee's own EmiSunshine and much more.  He's affiliated with BMI for his songwriting.
