The third studio sessions recording, this is going more towards where I like it to be, just me using anything I like in the studio to make some tracks. In this case Ableton is running the show, sequencing the starting chords made with the Arturia Prophet V, and the baseline with the Arturia Mini V, which I’m controlling from the Akai MidiMix on top of the piano the left. Ableton is also sequencing the modular, responsible for the ongoing sinewave melody. On top of that I’m using the Roland TR8s to improvise some drum parts. And finally I’m playing the Dave Smith MophoX4 and Yamaha Reface CP live.
 
The tracks in this Studio Session series are still recorded in one take, but these are multitracked and slightly edited in post. Mostly just some mild volume balancing and EQ.

Rave Syndicate are a hard techno duo based in Tampa, Florida, US. They have been producing since 2017. Aside from creating both hard techno and industrial techno, they also push atmospheric and thought provoking sounds.

Rave Syndicate have released on Crisis Of Man, Asylum Moscow, Coincidence and many more.

They are the owners of Hate Ministry, and former residents at The Other side (Pennsylvania).

This EP showcases a bit of variety with hard material, polished off with a more dramatic track "The Sun Won't Rise Again" paired with a monster remix from TEGRON.

The Eurorack modular / Beatstep pro / Korg SQ-1 combo is beginning to form a bit of a repetitive line up in my video titles, so maybe I have to come up with mentioning something else. But the truth is, it’s an incredible powerful trio. It’s been a while since I changed anything on my modular, and I’m still tempted to try a new filter here or there in the future, but I really don’t need anything else when it comes to writing songs. In other words I feel like the tracks I make are limited by my own skill, not the machines. Here’s another one with a bit more attention for composition, I might multitrack this one again to work on it some more.
