Adam X's illustrious music career began in 1990 in Brooklyn, NYC, where he was born and raised. His earliest productions were released during this period, and he quickly gained momentum as one of the most adept DJs on the global underground techno scene.

Alongside pioneer and brother Frankie Bones, he opened the doors of Groove Records in Brooklyn as America's first true outlet for underground electronic music with a direct focus on the techno genre. The Groove Records team also took part in organizing the first techno events ever to take place in NYC, including the legendary Storm Rave that started in 1991. Storm Rave was the first all-techno warehouse party organized on the East Coast of America, featuring line-ups with many up-and-coming artists who would later become global techno cult figures.

The Sonic Groove label was born in 1995 at the upgraded Manhattan location of the shop (which also changed its name from Groove Records to Sonic Groove during the transition). Adam continues to operate the label in an exemplary and innovative way, with over one hundred releases to date, focusing on an assortment of techno music styles from many well established artists across the electronic music spectrum.

A unique perspective and acute knowledge of music can be recognized in his DJ and live sets, which have always retained a unique sense of an uncompromised approach to the dance floor. Adam's approach facilitated acid techno's dominance in the early to mid-nineties, and he nearly single-handedly put the Industrial and EBM Techno cross-over genres on the map for the first two decades of the millennium. Now, Adam returns to his purist techno roots with a hard but deep thought-provoking sound, one combines the past, present and future of this timeless music.

His Traversable Wormhole, ADMX-71, The Secret Initiative, Mass-X-Odus, and X-Crashed side-projects, along with his collaboration with co-conspirator U.K.-based artist Perc in their project AX&P, and with his techno life partner Maedon as Maedon-X on Tresor Records, have all strongly impacted the most discerning audiences.

Adam X has also released his own work on his seminal imprint, as well as releases on some of the most essential labels to exist, both past and present, such as Wax Trax!, Direct Drive, Magnetic North, Peacefrog, Drop Bass Network, CLR, Hands Productions, as well as preeminent contemporary labels like Aufnahme + Wiedergabe, L.I.E.S, Hospital Production, and Pinkman.

Adam currently resides in the electronic music capital of the world, Berlin, Germany. With unparalleled dedication, his activities never cease as he continues his individual tradition of operating on every vital level, from label activity to organizing events in the legendary Tresor club and performing in some of the world's most credible venues—a practice he has maintained since the early '90s. Adam X is a true force whose contribution has reached far into bringing the future forward for electronic music.

Archaic Podcast 500 - Ben Sims

Already as a teenager, Nico discovered his fondness/preference for producing electronic music. In the process, he didn't commit to any particular genre. Only the German techno scene caused him to specialize in techno production. During this time, he, among other things, acted as a DJ in various clubs in his hometown. 

After some years, he had the impression that he hadn't developed further, and thus, he decided to try electro music. Nico noticed very soon that it was the right challenge for him, and so ELEKTROTECHNIK emerged in 2017. Now he was able to process his emotions and feelings, which didn't leave him unscathed due to current topics. 

Since then, ELEKTROTECHNIK has put all his energy into the production of electro music. It's definitely been worth it so far because there have been multiple releases on different labels, such as NoteRecordings, Tigerweeds, Fanzine and A.Traction, where he has already released 5 EPs.

With over 33 years experience spinning all over Victoria and featuring at all major parties and clubs throughout Melbourne with is roster full with weekly, fortnightly and monthly residences at The Espy, The Joint Bar, Lucky Coq & Glamorama ....

Matty Radovich is one of the founding members of the Infamous MTC Crew (Melbourne techno collective). MTC have been a corner stone in the Melbourne techno scene and have been running for over 22 years now. Due to the success that MTC has had. Matty has then gone onto support the likes of Aphex Twin, Laurent Garnier, Juan Atkins, Orbital live, Galaxy 2 Galaxy and Timeline (Underground Resistance), Marco Carola, Surgeon, Planetary Assault System Live, Miss Kittin, Stacey Pullen, Mike Humphries, Sandwell District (Regis & Function), Oscar Mulero, Ricardo Villalobos, Kevin Saunderson, Redshape, Technasia, Cave, Adam Beyer, Justin Berkovi, Derrick May, Kazu Kimira, Richie Hawtin, Jeff Mills, Green Velvet, Carl Cox, Collabs (Speedy J & Chris Liebing), Steve Rachmad, Vitalic, Detroit Techno Militia, Space Djz, Ben Sims and many more at large techno events around Melbourne. Matt is also a member of the Stable Music crew. Stable Music is one of the leaders in Melbourne, bringing forward thinking events and electronic music to Melbourne. Stable Music is responsible for bringing Piknic Electronic to Melbourne. They also bring the worlds best TECHNO acts to Melbourne at their Capacity parties. Stable Music has also brought Kubik to Melbourne. They have also worked closely with the Melbourne City council and helping them bring quality events to Melbourne Music Week every year and Matt has been there every step of the way, since Stable Music inception.

Not just restricted to Melb Matty has played all around Australia including Adelaide, Sydney, Gold Coast, Hobart and even Sri Lanka, strange but true! For the last 4 years, Matt was lucky enough to live out one of his life long dreams. He got to play his beloved TECHNO at the home of TECHNO, Detroit USA. Matt was asked by the Detroit TECHNO Militia to play at the Bang Tech 12 Anniversary party. This party is the warm up party to the Movement Electronic Music Festival in Detroit (DEMF - Movement) and Matt got to share the decks with some of the cities and the worlds finest every year.

Matty Radovich has cemented his name in the Melbourne scene with guest spots at the largest festivals in Australia for example festivals including Creamfields, V Festival (Gold Coast, Sydney and Melbourne), Two Tribes, Good Vibrations, Listen Out, Solar, Stereosonic, Kiss my grass, Sunshine people, Hardware, Future Music Festival, We Love Sounds, Enchanted Forest and more.

Matty Radovich was fortunate enough to be handpicked to be the support dj for Dj Shadow's Outsider show in Melbourne featuring the Gift of Gab at the Forum. But it doesn't stop there, Matt was also asked to support the one and only Grandmaster Flash, under his alias Mike Hunt. Matt has also been asked to support Common at a Red bull Racing Gala party. Obviously Dj Shadow liked Matty, because Matt was also asked to support Dj Shadow and Cut Chemists together on the Hard Sell tour at their Melbourne leg of their tour of Australia. Matt was also asked to join Dj Shadow and Cut Chemist again at their Melbourne Show of the Renegades of Rhythm tour. Matt was asked to open the show for the infamous Wu Tang Clan. Matt has also supported the likes of many great funk, hip hop, electronic and dance acts like Flying Lotus, Gilles Peterson, Dj Krush, Amp Fiddler, Gaslamp Killer, Clark, Dam Funk, Scuba, Ras G, Africa HiTech, Claude Von Stroke, Hudson Mohawke, Harmonic 313, Platinum Pied Pipers, 2manydjs, just to name a few.
