"So I recorded this mix fresh after a really good party in Manchester without reorganising my record bag or CD's (yes I do still use CD's). All the tracks you hear in the mix are things I've taken with me to recent gigs, so this mix is a pretty good representation of what a Loz Goddard DJ set sounds like right now. My productions and DJ sets are quite different, with the production side being much calmer on the whole. Hopefully the mix creates a nice contrast for people who might be familiar with the more chilled nature of my music." - @lozgoddard

The first time I heard @alexander_antonakis was warming up for Romanthony live at O25 in Frankfurt (Main) in ca 2000. I could stop there. Then at a house party in a flat above the infamous 21st Jahrhundert. Both times I took notes. Namely I remember Inner Life's - Moment Of My Life (famously sampled by Ian Pooley for Forc Inc.) and Venus Dodson's Where Are We Headed? I was decksharking hard. Later when I moved to Berlin we booked him for our Premiere Party for Maestro at Kinzo. I guess it's fair to say he is a local legend with his residencies for Radio X , their Chocolate Parties alongside the late Heiko M/SO and the equally famous Monza club.

Tigerbalm's music production is a kaleidoscope of global influences; ranging from deep tribal sounds to disco-driven dance floor grooves. She makes movement-inspiring dance music, combining electronic elements and organic instrumentation, stemming at large from African & Latin American music. Never more so evident than on her LP, International Love Affair. 

Tigerbalm has now invited a collection of electronic producers to deliver 12 unique remixes of the LP. The new remix versions take influences and tastes from across the globe, and to mark it's release Rose has provided us with a beautifully vibrant mix for the SB series.

Ben Manzone is a native of New York, and has been a DJ in NYC for 22 years. He is the admin & curator of There Is No Planet Earth Instagram account; an audio/visual archive that focuses on the history of House, Disco, Techno and the club culture of 80’s-90’s New York, Chicago, and Detroit, as well as Classic Vogue Ballroom footage.

Ben has also been involved with Deep Cut Brooklyn disco party, Foreal People and Party Line; a roving loft/warehouse DIY function, hosting legendary guest DJ’s such as Tony Humphries & Honey Dijon, as well as the Queer party On & On. Additionally, Ben was one half of Techno production group ‘Sycorax’.

 "This mix is inspired by storied NYC House institutions: Body & Soul, Shelter, 718 Sessions & Junior Vasquez at Sound Factory... The vibe is vocal oriented but funky, soulful, and deep! It's got early 90's tracks, and mid 90's disco infused chicago house, as well as gospel heavy contemporary tracks! This mix is really a snapshot of what I'd typically play out at clubs in NYC."

Marcia Carr is a seasoned club DJ and radio presenter.  She's the producer of Everything Good (Rinsefm), the curator and director of the all-vinyl, female DJ squad Girlz B Like, producer of video series 2 Decks And A Mixer and occasionally makes tunes.
Known well among her industry peers, Marcia Carr is an international vinyl aficionado; she is the DJs DJ with more than thirty six years of loyal passion behind her.  She's played many of London's hotspots, she has been featured around the world on bills alongside many big names of the scene.

As a former street/jazz dancer she knows how to work up crowds internationally - from festivals to nightclubs, be it DJ'ing in a castle down to a minuscule horse-box - taking audiences on a musical journey that nearly always veers off into sheer eclecticism of sounds. 

Her club DJ sets of deeper, soulful, jazzy style encompassing tech house, Afro, gospel house, disco, broken beat, nu jazz and dubstep have also featured on air of a variety of radio stations as far flung as Singapore and Sri Lanka to a host of European neighbours - Estonia, Finland, Norway, Luxembourg, Greece, Ireland, Switzerland, Scotland - to Mi-Soul radio, and venues like the Ministry Of Sound radio, alongside the likes of Bob Sinclair, MAW and David Morales.  Invitations to spin around the world have continued to find favour and appreciation for Marcia gaining new fans everywhere she goes. 

Billed with new rising talents such as Josey Rebelle, Shy One, DJ Spinna, EVM128, Horsemeat Disco, Melvo Baptiste, Simbad, BBZ crew, A-Traxx, AfroChick at a variety of gigs, has proven Marcia's versatility to appeal across generations.

Marcia Carr also runs music PR / Artist agency company Talking Music Productions, is a host of numerous different events (both club and charity events). From time to time she has been involved with studio production and remix work, has also provided independent music consultancy to many organisations, all of which illustrate exactly why she is a tour de force, and still very much in demand around the world.
