I've had "Sound Cloud" for a few months now and it's come to my attention that I haven't really posted anything about myself. So here's a quick back round. When i was in high school (96-2000) i started listening to electronic music. I quickly fell in love with the sound, and soon found myself emersed in the New Jersey "Rave"  culture. It wasn't long before I stared hanging some the local D.J.'s (mostly Drum and Bass). Fascinated by the sounds and music that they were creating i begged my father to purchase equipment, which he did on my 17th birthday. It was a cheap "Gemini" brand set of belt driven turntables and a 4-channel mixer from radioshack. The whole package was less then $200, in retrospect I'm glad I stared with such bad equipment because I had to put a lot of practice in order to use it correctly. Over the years I got better equipment and was practicing  around 4-5 hours a day. A girlfriend at the said i was more interested with D.J.ing then I was with her (not true but i broke up with here anyway, lol). The years pasted an my interest in become a professional D.J. faded as did society's interest in techno. I would periodically use my turntables over the years but between work and family found little time for playing, however I never stopped listening to techno. Then a few about a year ago (summer of 2011) I met Doug ( a sound engineer from "Full Sail"). I wasn't long before we were in front of a computer working on tracks together. I had a copy of "Cakewalk" that I used years ago (mostly just as a 4 track recorder for D.J.ing) but was obsolete by comparison to today's software which is what he uses. In the past year I've found my love for techno rekindled and plan on being involved with for years to come. I'm still not at the point were I feel my own "loops" and "beats" are good enough for the public so most of them are taken from the internet then altered and rearranged. However this just until I feel do anything good enough for my listeners which should becoming this summer (2012).
