Tabloid Mania Part 1

I first heard Jeff Buckley sing in early 1993 at the Knitting Factory in NYC, completely by accident. And I was transfixed. So when the 'Live at Sin-E' EP came out later that year I was so pleased. I'm glad I got to meet Jeff during one of his visits to WHTG. 

Unfortunately, I don't have a complete tape of a WHTG interview with him. Most of this is an incomplete recording from February 25, 1994 from WHTG, interviewed by Rob Acampora. Tacked on at the end is a little bit of a later visit by Buckley from October 21, 1994 with WHTG's Rich Scroggs.

The bleed-through from our sister AM station was unbelievable on these recordings.

I've been combing through some boxes of audio cassettes recently and digitizing some of the interesting recordings I come across from my 25+ years in the radio business. Some involve me directly, some involve me only indirectly, and a few I have no idea from where they came.
