The goal of Cypher 36 was to create a track that utilizes the sounds of chiptune. What is chiptune, you might ask? Chiptune utilizes the simplest and original waveforms, combined with FM synthesis and basic sampling to create awesome sounding music. If you've ever played any video games from the 90s on the Original SEGA or Nintendo systems, you were listening to chiptunes, made with audio programming tools called Trackers, some of these programs were only limited to 4 channels. These were later replaced with the modern DAW that we use today. Please follow all of the artists below to learn more.
