Lazydisco is the project from Fred Oliveira of Rockets fame. After getting playlisted by names like Alan Braxe, Duck Sauce, A-Trak, Treasure Fingers, Aeroplane and In Flagranti, Fred decided it was time to explore something a little different from his regular house antics. So in 2010, Lazydisco was born.

Describing the typical Lazydisco track is a hard endeavour, although some might resort to just using the word sexy. Things can get crafty behind the analog synths, the keyboards and the occasional live drums. Lazydisco is influenced by many things and many people. Often relaxed, often dirty - like life, one might say.

“More Tigers” is Lazydiscoʼs debut EP, out on Discotexas. Remixers include In Flagranti, C90s, Xinobi, Mirror People and MODE. A highly anticipated release, which can already be heard in clubs (and pool parties) worldwide.

Six months after their last installment, Shir Khan and Exploited drop another hot to trot collection of disco edits. As usual, there's much to excite, beginning with the familiar guitar solos, Rhodes keys and dub disco pulse of Antilope's "Singing Ghost" rework. Death On The Balcony keep up the reverb and delay-laden dub disco theme on "Addict For Your Love", whose rubbery groove, twinkling pianos and heady vocals have been expertly rearranged to fit house dancefloors. Finally, Matpat go loop crazy on the thumping disco house cut "Only You" which sits somewhere between Rahaan and Soundstream. Excellent stuff all round.

DBFC, signed to Different Recordings late last year are set to release their second single for the label when they unveil ‘Autonomic’ on April 29th.

Fronted by Mancunian David Shaw and Parisian Dombrance, this Anglo-French outfit comes together as a four-way collective, not a band  as such but more a club.  Featuring  alongside the duo come  percussionist Guillaume Rossel and bassist Victor Paillet, the DBFC vision is entrenched within the French electronic music scene but, as witnessed on their debut for Different Recordings, ‘Get It All’, they succeeded in creating a sound that encompasses their multi-facetted talents.

We premiere ‘Autonomic’ today and heralds its arrival inhabiting a more dance-orientated world and whilst eschewing elements of their previous single..

En pleine préparation de son nouveau live pour les Transmusicales de Rennes 2018, Dombrance, connu pour son hit "The Witch", membre du duo DBFC et remixeur de Superpoze, Cascadeur, Is Tropical, GET A ROOM, a jeté son dévolu sur le titre "Ce soir je m'en vais" du duo parisien SLOVE en feat. avec Maud Geffray (du duo SCRATCH MASSIVE qui sort un nouvel album le 26 octobre prochain).

Alors que le titre original nous embarquait dans une ballade au phrasé poétique sur une instru électro-punk cadencée, Dombrance nous propulse dans un long voyage groovy et cotonneux qui séduira autant les clubbers addict au dancefloor que les mélomanes amateurs de dimanches pluvieux devant la cheminée.
