A blue sky & a red sun demo version 1

I wrote this little ditty when my guitar teacher challenged me to use more interesting chords.  I’m glad he did that, i needed it honestly.  I should try to do this more often.

Fun little banjo guy I came up with while jamming with my good buddy and band mate willy.  He asked if i had anything else, and I didn’t.  But usually that means the jam is ending and i didn’t want that so i made this up and i really like it. I’m excited to share it with willy’s drums

My favorite part was how at the end i give up and say “thats not gonna work” what a cop out.  I figured it out haha this song turned out to be a goodie.  I’ll share later.

First song i ever had the audacity to put on the interweb.  Which felt like a big deal in the moment.  But honestly nothing is.  No one cares about you in like the greatest way possible.  No one cares.  Put it online if you want.  China has it regardless haha.

My good buddy Mike Newton helped me showing me you can just sit in a room and make song.  You have everything you need.  I’m forever grateful for that.  This song is the first structured attempt i really made at a song.  Without him id probably be a lot less happy because i dont know that id have the drive to figure it all out on my own.

Melting Snow

These are all songs in pretty much their first sitting form.  I always think it’s interesting to see how far a song develops and how far it might deviate from its original idea.  This is kind of a time capsule for the progression of those ideas as well as an almost scary reflection into the lack of knowledge i possess about music or really anything haha.  Like it or don’t, listen or don’t who cares.
