Rex Goudie - Comin' Back For Good

This is the 2nd hit single from the EPdemic album [2008, Red Ink/Infect The Masses] that really put illScarlett on the map. It was all over the Edge102 Thursday 30 for weeks, eventually reaching the top 10.

I produced, recorded and mixed this album, and contributed some percussion and random keyboards and backing vocals. It was mastered by the masterful Phil Demetro at The Lacquer Channel.

Bonehead rock and roll - drums, bass, guitars and more guitars. Oh and vocals. Shades of STP and Led Zeppelin, with a dash of Foos. Maybe I was a little bit angry, but sarcastic till the bitter end. Like always.

Over It

When a friend suggests perhaps it's time for a psychiatric examination, I figure I've done my job. Songwriting lets one explore themes and scenarios outside of one's own allegedly normal life, sometimes venturing into the darker corners of our imaginations. This is a story of unrequited love, obsession, and desperation, against a Romeo and Juliet backdrop.
I recorded, produced, mixed, and did all the instruments and vocals. Thank you to Harry Hess at HBomb Mastering for the perfect final touches and much-needed perspective.

Our Tragedy

This talented trio is comprised of students from Etobicoke School for the Arts and have a very promising future indeed. I've had the good fortune of working with them to develop their songwriting, singing, and bring their ideas to fruition, while injecting a few of my own as well. Moody, thoughtful, yearning, yet all the while uplifting and beautiful, Sugar Lips has been racking up plays on Spotify and Apple Music and gaining them lots of attention.
I produced, arranged, recorded, mixed, mastered, played additional keyboards and wrote and programmed the string arrangement.

Midnight in April - Sugar Lips

This is from Eddie's "Guilty Pleasures, Volume I" EP [2013] - a compilation of amped-up and sometimes re-invented covers, featuring Eddie's phenomenal drumming, soaring vocals, and some very special guest performers. The keyboards on this track were played by mad-genius and lifelong pal Ray Coburn.

The album also features a stunning performance by legendary Steve Hackett keyboardist Nick Magnus! We were so lucky to work with him.

I produced, mixed, recorded and mastered this album, and played guitars, bass (mostly my old Rickenbacker!), some keyboards, percussion, and backing vocals.

Eddie Zeeman - Kashmir [Led Zeppelin cover]

Taken from Melanie's album "Melvin Live" [2000, Maple Music]. I'm fortunate to have been Melanie's guitarist since about 1998 - we recorded this live at the Horseshoe Tavern in Toronto in 2000 and it still brings a smile to my face.

I was a co-producer on this album, as well as guitarist, backing vocalist, and techie-programmer guy for all our live loops and samples.

This was mixed and mastered by the wonderful Joao Carvalho at Umbrella.
