This is a very long, meandering recording of some improv over an internet backing track.  This new JJ Guitars Park Lane model from England is incredible, so I was just having a bit of fun over a simple vamp.  Recorded open-air with an iPhone 6s.  An iPad 2 is playing the track into a PA.  Guitar is being played through my live stage rig.  All done at fairly low volume, too.  But the limitations of how this was recorded make it so that this really will sound best in headphones or with real speakers; crappy cellphone speakers will probably sound like all guitar with a buried backing track, FYI. Guitar: JJ Park Lane (HH)
Amp: Glaswerks Super Overdrive II 100W (OD1 channel) into matching oversized 112 cabinet with an old OEM EV 12L speaker.  Amp overdrive engaged at all times, with all variations in texture coming from the guitar volume and tone knobs as well as an incredible variety of sounds available from JJ's innovative and proprietary 6-way toggle switch (that looks like a standard 3-way).
Pedal: Only pedal used on this was the venerable Maxon AD900 analog delay in the amp's effects loop.  (Also using some onboard amp reverb.)

Old Love

I created this page so that I could upload the occasional homemade recording.  I've been playing guitar most of my life, but have only had the ability to do some home scratch recordings in recent times.
