We're back with another installment to the Coda Mix series, this time from mysterious Frenchman Mike Stern. All of us at Coda have been listening to Mike's mixes for a long time, some of them getting a serious amount of plays over the years - so we thought he'd be the perfect candidate to do one for us.

Dirty Epic welcomes @cressida for its fifty first episode of Amplify Series.

Born in the UK and based in Berlin, Cressida’s sound is a cross-pollination of these two sonic spectrums - the rhythmic, dystopian force of Techno fused with a sound embedded in various points of the UK Hardcore Continuum

Cressida marked his first release “Salvation“ EP on Nur Jaber’s OSF label and tracks on compilations for both Dax J’s Monnom Black and Mord in 2018. After two more EPs on Voitax he contributed a track to the Midnight Shift x Voitax collab LP in late 2020. Far from going unnoticed, his work has been heralded by luminary artists such as Dax J, Paula Temple, Rebekah, FJAAK to name a few.

His performances have gathered at an even faster pace with shows in North America, Asia and across Europe, plus key appearances at institutions like Tresor, Berghain’s Säule, //about:blank and Griessmuehle in his adopted hometown. He has also made key contributions to renowned mix series such as HATE & Groove Magazine as well as appearing on the mighty RinseFM, amongst many others.

Igor Semmerling, also known as IGGY, belongs to the young wave of players with roots in the Tri-City area, whose creativity is based on diverse techno styles. He is strongly associated with the Crackhouse club, where he serves as a manager, allowing him to immerse himself even deeper in club culture and develop his organizational skills. Igor has gained recognition in the region for his original approach to mixing, which combines pulsating grooves, rhythmic percussion, and modern techno sounds.

Over the past few years, IGGY has consistently experimented with different styles, allowing him to create unique and previously unheard-of sets. His favorite genres include hardgroove, raw, deep and hypnotic techno, electro, and breakbeat, which he often combines in one performance, creating unique musical experiences for his listeners.

He has performed in clubs such as Smolna, Sfinks700, CEL, Ulica Elektryków, and at the Wisłoujście festival. Igor gives his all on stage to keep the audience engaged until the very end. His goal is not only to play music but also to create an atmosphere that will be remembered for a long time. Igor is not just a DJ but also a photography enthusiast.
