I’m a nerdy and a bit of a shy dude but I sincerely love hip hop as much as I do all the nerdy shit that I love like anime, video games, movies and tv shows; which funny enough is my whole swag. Kendrick Lamar most definitely inspired me to pick up a pencil and a pad as well as deeply contextual and tell something real and from the heart that applies to me. I grew up listening to Kanye, Jay Z and Biggie as a child being raised by my mom. Overtime I started listening to other rock and rap groups and artists from David Bowie to Mac Miller in terms of being experimental and out there with my music and breaking the boundaries of vulnerability and relatability for my audience. Spitting like the rent is due and in some way; like Mac Miller and Cudi have since I was a teenager, help them overcome their own personal struggles. There’s plenty of preexisting and type beats I practice and slay on during my days off from work, but I definitely need to work on my word structure for sure(the written songs I’ve done show versatility for sure).
