For the 99th entry in the Honcho Podcast, we welcome @fatheroftwo! A  Pittsburgh resident and a key member on the In Training crew, Brian had a few words about his mix:

'Proud, smiling member of this queer dance music community on a regional, national, and world level! I’m rediscovering which hats I want to try back on and ways in which I want to contribute to that community in this next chapter. Dancer, friend, DJ, promoter… excited to wear all of these and more again at some point! 

There is no deep meaning or narrative to this mix; I’ve never done that well. It’s been tough for me to record studio mixes in the past, I usually turn them down because I would rather just play in front of people. But I did spend lots of time on this one, and all of these tracks are important. Some are older, some newer, all of them are joyful to me! It would mean a lot to me if you put this mix on this summer any time you’re with friends, outside or inside, sipping drinks, getting ready to go out or maybe even late at night when you still have lots of energy… just enjoying being back together. Feel free to talk to and laugh with each other over this mix, but get up and have a dance whenever something catches your ear! That’s what I had in mind :)'
