Mike Acetate is an Australian electronic musician, DJ and producer. Best known for his 2001 release, 'Shake' which made it to No.1 on the International House Music / Beatport charts. Plus his 2008 release 'Elevate' which also made it to No 1 on the charts.
Mike is one of the founding members of the infamous San Francisco Deep House Project.

With a DJ career kicking off in 1988, Mike Acetate has built himself a reputation as a DJ and quality Deep and Tech House Producer. An instrumental figure in the Australian Music Community bringing his deep house vibes to the city of Sydney. 

Heading up the San Francisco Deep House Project with long time friend and DHP founder Carlos Gibbs, together they have released countless tracks through DHP and had songs featured on labels and compilations such as Tom Middleton’s Renaissance, Freerange, Hemmesphere, Seemless Recording, Brain Kat Records,  Balance Music and many more.

Artists such as Jimpster, Roy Davis Jr, Milton Jackson, Spettro, and Shur-I-Kan are all lending their talents to DHP. With names like that it’s clear to see why Mike has cemented a solid foundation for himself in the dance music community. 

Mike has often been referred to as the “Dj’s Dj”.... And this is not a term used lightly these days, with so many dj’s coming through the ranks over the last few years Mike’s name is certainly one that commands respect from his peers and anyone who has had a chance to catch one of his live sets.
