Tony Momrelle, one of the UK’s most significant and exciting soulful singer-songwriters, is back with a revelatory seven-track EP delivering edge, variety and the message, loud and colourfully clear, that this, entirely, is his time.

Spotlight is the 2nd single taken from the outstanding ‘FLY’ EP. Already on it’s way to becoming a Soul Anthem, the single package is notched up even further by some simply stunning remixes from UK house don, Richard Earnshaw.

Tony Momrelle has been a student of music since the age of eight. One of the UK soul scene’s finest contemporary exports, he has worked with everyone from Whitney Houston to Sade, fronted legendary band Incognito for over 10 years, and continued to steer Reel People alongside Oli Lazarus. His new EP follows a long line of quality Reel People Music releases including Amazing, Star, Golden Lady and Time, but this is his first solo venture for the imprint.

A full album will drop in 2014, Spotlight signals the next stage of some serious new Momrelle momentum.  He’s ready for take-off....

His multi genre approach in his DJ sets stems from an era of musical culture and wisdom while his roots can be felt in a broad influence of raw soulful music. Having made appearances on Glitterbox and Lowlands Festival, his passion for music looks to share that love with a wider audience around the world.

We’ve feature 'Sucré Salé ', the E.P's title track. With elements of stuttery percussion, a moody bass riff, some oscillating rhodes and a well-placed vocal or two, this track perfectly captures label head: Sune's auteur like vision.

At the tail end of summer 2018, singer-songwriter Dannis Winston scored a club and radio hit with 'Rocket Love', a summery soulful house workout produced by Good Vibrations Music founder Sean McCabe and legendary Mood II Swing producer Lem Springsteen. Now the song has been given a breezy and groovy makeover by a true legend of New York house music: GRAMMY Award winner Louie Vega.

The Masters at Work man has previously won awards for his remix work, so it's little surprise to find that Vega's remix of 'Rocket Love' elevates an already memorable track to dizzy new heights. Utilizing a virtuoso piano performance from regular collaborator Axel Tosca, a warm new bassline by Gene Perez and chunky, bumping beats, Vega has created a classic-sounding revision. There's no doubt about the star attraction, either: throughout the Masters at Work producer's revision, it's Winston's memorable lyrics and virtuoso vocal performance that rightly take centre stage.
