Caught The Bug

You've never heard a cover of The Cure like this.

During #covid, we felt like this song had more meaning than ever.  Lyrics like "whenever I'm alone with you" take on new meaning when we are on lockdown, some of us only being able to connect virtually for an extended period of times, and some of us closer than ever, 24-7. We tried to capture that feeling of isolation in our interpretation of this classic song.

Yeah, the mood changes drastically on the choruses... the best music is uncategorizable. Indie is the best fit, but you might call it alternative, even ambient at times, with some jazz/funk/soul, or electronica in there too. Why not sci-fi? Artists that inspire us (besides The Cure) are Radiohead, Portishead, and Laura Mvula. But what YOU hear is more important... so we welcome comments.
