Afghan-born and Hamburg based Farhot drops an hour mix for the third volume of the World Treasures Music 'Selectors Series'.

The DJ and hip-hop producer owns and runs the Kabul Fire record label from his home in Germany, having lived there since leaving Afghanistan as a child. 

His 2013 debut, 'Kabul Fire Volume 1', featured collaborations with Ms Dynamite, Giggs and Kano and his previous credits include Talib Kweli, Selah Sue, 113, LOC, Haftbefehl, Max Herre, Xatar, and many more. His latest album 'Kabul Fire Volume 2' was released in January 2021 and sampled Afghani documentaries, string orchestrations and tabla drums with key inputs from UK and German rappers like JuJu Rogers, Tiggs Da Author and Nneka.

Having roots in Japan and Cuba, Yuzo Iwata has been a prominent figure in  the music scene. Since 2011, he has been organizing the "FLOPPY" party at Presious Hall in Sapporo. In 2016, he relocated to Berlin and in 2018,  released his debut EP, "Kiteki," on @pluie-noir. In 2022 he released his debut album, "Kaizu," through @buttersessions in Melbourne.
In Berlin, Yuzo Iwata has worked at the record shop @sound-metaphors, curating a diverse record collection with a core of psychedelia. His DJ selections span a wide range of genres, incorporating funky basslines, and providing a minimal physicality and blissful touch while delivering dynamic music experiences. His music invites listeners to dance while evoking various landscapes and emotions, leading them on a warm and immersive musical journey.

Love Injection is a New York music and culture monthly fanzine in print since February 2015, founded by DJs, archivists, and audio enthusiasts Paul Raffaele and Barbie Bertisch.
