„Horizon“ ist in zweierlei Hinsicht ein besonderer Track aus meinem kommenden Album „The Belt“. Zum einen freue ich mich sehr, dass wieder einmal mein französischer Musiker- und Producerfreund Phil Steff mit seiner E-Gitarre dieses Stück ungemein bereicherte. Zum anderen wurde "Horizon" dazu auserkoren, das Opener-Stück auf "The Belt" zu sein. Und wir wissen ja ... der erste Eindruck zählt! :-)

Release Biography:

Nach der Veröffentlichung von 6 EDM/Trance EPs im ersten Halbjahr 2019, kehrte ich erst mal wieder „back to the roots“ und produzierte mit "The Belts" erneut ein Konzeptalbum zum Zuhören.

Tipp: Auf´s Sofa kuscheln, Kopfhörer aufsetzen und eintauchen in die hypnotischen Klanglandschaften von "The Belt" ... Stilistisch angelehnt an den Spirit der Elektronik Pioniere der 70er und 80er.

Wie schon auf meinem 4. Album „Red Desert“ stehen musikalisch die Themen Kosmos, Raum und Zeit im Mittelpunkt. In den vergangenen Monaten habe ich mir die bisherigen drei Staffeln der Science-Fiction Reihe „The Expanse“ mehrfach angeschaut und bin immer noch fasziniert. Liegt wohl daran, dass es sich um die Verfilmung der ursprünglich als nicht verfilmbaren, mittlerweile 8bändigen Buchreihe von James Corey handelt. Sehr komplexe Handlung, sehr gut gemachter Plot. Auf „The Belt“ widme ich mich mit eigenen Soundtracks den unterschiedlichsten Themen aus diesem Buch- und Film Mammutwerk.

Geplanter Release-Termin ist Januar 2020.
