So on weapon condition, I think it is a good idea for a post apoc game byt i do think it should be a "Build Up" system rather than degradation. Like you find a Poor condition gun and use other poor condition guns' parts to build up a more functional weapon. you could even gate it behind repair skill so it is a bonus and not a requirement
