I always thought "Drink up" for each verse never made any sense, so I rewrote 2 lines, it and now it makes WAY more sense. No offense intended. Just flexing my creative muscles by standing on the shoulders of a beloved genius songwriter that I can identify with in MANY ways.

If you're going to download and mix it into your set, you'll probably need to purchase Sunshine (the Original Mix) by David Guetta and then pitch it down 1 step. From there you can mix one this in. I tried pitching Stevie Knick up one instead, but she sounds like a goat on helium when you do that. So don't do that.

In the 80's we had old goth bands re-discovering psychedelia. And there was a really good non-hippy alt-psychedelic scene that most people missed out on Cuz Depeche Mode and the like got all the attention. So this is me trying a 21st century version of the Love and Rockets song from the 80's that in itself is just plain good. It's SO good, anybody who does a cover of it will probably do alright. Cuz, Daniel Ash and crew wrote it at their peak.

If you don't dig the Carpenters, you are missing out. Think 1974. Think how hard it would be to put out totally Emo pop songs that were total hits and still tragic and hopeless and searching. And Karen's voice. Angelic. You can't deny that buttery velvet alto-soprano just squeezes your heart. RIP Karen. All the good one's die young, but leave their music behind as a gift to remind us that we aren't alone.

I write songs, but I just post covers and rough mix-downs so I can hear what new equipment and mixes sound like in the car when the ear fatigue hits in the studio.

Actually more like auditioning a lot. It's actually a whole different world of fun - even if I rarely book anything.

Anyway, this account is mostly just me posting and deleting stuff so I can test new gear, ideas, equipment, and mixes from studio to car. And it's usually ALL tracking vocals, mistakes, ideas, or covers. so sorry. I'm not posting any finished originals here.

Sometimes I get OCD and actually work on them for real, but mostly not. The shiny masters are on my hard drives. There ARE a few fun tracks in here though. 

And for you people downloading my stuff, feel free to DM me. I'm open to collaboration and especially finding vocalists that take my writing to the next level. I'll give you the files with no vocals, and you can take over from there. Just ask. We're making art. Why not make it together?
