For Mike Cerda, music has always been a part of his life. He learned to play the trombone, trumpet, and saxophone at the young age of 8, thanks to his grandfather's influence. Despite his parents' wishes for him to work as a Geophysical Engineer, Mike pursued his passion for music, and has been creating and producing and performing for over 20 years.
From being a founding member of the Venezuelan Hip Hop/Rap group "Cuarto Poder" to working with Grammy and Latin Grammy winners and on tour with Axwell^Ingrosso (Swedish House Mafia) and Maluma, Mike Cerda has made a name for himself in the Latin music industry.

Embark on a sonic journey with Mike Cerda, a   dj/producer/ multi instrumentalist hailing from the musical landscapes of Caracas, Venezuela. Also known as "MkC," Mike's musical odyssey began under the influence of his grandfather, a guiding force that introduced him to the world of music. At the age of 8, he embraced instruments like trombone, trumpet, and saxophone, setting the stage for a lifelong passion.
Despite being born to architect parents who envisioned a different path, Mike's heart beat to the rhythm of his own desires. Graduating as a geophysical engineer, he also delved into the intricate world of engineering. Yet, the allure of music proved irresistible, leading him to over two decades of creative exploration and production.
In the early 2000s, Mike played a pivotal role as a founding member of the Venezuelan Hip Hop/Rap group "Cuarto Poder" (1999-2008), leaving an indelible mark on the local music scene. His journey expanded globally, collaborating with Grammy and Latin Grammy winners. From touring alongside Swedish Dj's Axwell ^Ingrosso (Swedish House Mafia) to serving as the Musical Director for Colombian sensation Maluma, Mike's influence reached international heights.
Now, with a wealth of experiences from traversing the world, Mike immerses himself in his latest project. Fusing the captivating realms of house music with the diverse influences that have shaped his musical identity, he invites you to join him on a boundless exploration of sound and rhythm.
