“All Over” sees the return of production don Mike Delinquent for his first release in 2 years, and it’s a big collab with renowned vocalist Nikki Ambers. Known for trailblazing the rebirth of UK Garage back in 2011 (Wretch 32 ‘Traktor’ remix), the MDP has enjoyed a productive period of time immersed in his craft, describing it as a ‘need for space, to create without pressure and experiment with other genres, and live music’. Musically, this return single definitely displays that eloquent blend of nylon Spanish guitar chords with the type of Bass synonymous with Delinquent’s productions throughout the years.
“All Over” is a beautiful song written by Nikki Ambers (formerly Little Nikki) , an accomplished writer and artist with over 30 million streams on Spotify, has been involved in some amazing projects in recent years. (DJ Fresh “Bounce” / Paul Oakenfold + more). Amber’s vocal performance on ‘All Over’ is exquisite, complimenting the emotive guitar chords throughout.
This first release of 2022 lights the fire to an exciting project which emerges this summer; With plenty to look forward to, exciting times lie ahead for Mike and his Zeus Sound imprint.

The title of the EP says it all! 3 rolling instrumentals from the MDP to support the release of ‘Tension’ featuring Terri Walker, forthcoming on Champion Records.

It’s been a fantastic 2014 so far for the MDP. He continues to hold down his Saturday night slot on Kiss Fresh, as well as collaborating with Wiley and performing live alongside Ms Dynamite & EZ at various venues.

Mike’s previous remix credits include Usher, Ms Dynamite, Wretch 32, Ciara ft Missy, and Timbaland & Magoo spanning over a 12 year career. Previously part of Delinquent, he burst into the national charts with “My Destiny” ft Kcat. (Top 20)

Fresh from his collab with Wiley “Wiggle”, Mike goes for some sounds slightly different of the Garage vibe he’s used to delivering, and kicks off this EP offering with the house influenced “I Am 808”. 

“I Am 808” pays tribute to the drum machine which has given dance music many anthems. Look out for the soulful breakdown too.

“Anything” lends itself to Nu Skool 2step with Mike’s signature style of the ‘chop up’ vocal also a feature. 

The EP is complete with an 8-Bar Grime instrumental “Van Damme Riddim”, the heaviest of the 3 tracks & definitely something for the lovers of Grime.

Following on from countless successful remixes and underground releases in recent years with artists such as Wiley, Wretch 32, Ms Dynamite, Sneakbo, Lady Leshurr, Mike is ready to continue releasing material with artists he admires.

"Hype Ting" draws on the versatility of Garage MC Neat, who hooked up with Mike lacing lyrics on this bass heavy speaker tearing instrumental. The collaboration somewhat sees Garage go full circle as one of the original MCs links up with a producer many associate with rubber stamping the modern Garage-influenced sound.

Mike Delinquent Project is back, and at his best yet. Since signing to Champion Records in 2011 Mike has seen his career go from strength to strength and this new track looks set to follow in the footsteps of his 2011 summer anthem “Out of Control”.

“Step In The Dance” sees Mike team up with UK talent Lady Leshurr for a heavy summer party track.

Leshurr, destined to achieve the title of UK’s next queen MC, has worked with the likes of P Money, Dot Rotten, Tinie Tempah, Lioness, Chipmunk, Tinchy Stryder, Skepta and Wiley to name a few. Described as the UK’s answer to NIcki Minaj; Lady Leshurr steps it up with her feisty flow that rolls with ease, speed and swag, kicked with UK grime. POW!

“Step In The Dance” is a modern mash up pop track that meshes the sounds of garage, grime, drum ‘n’ bass and old school jungle. Leshurr’s flow rides over the top whilst the signatory Mike Delinquent Project beat crashes below. The chorus coolly sung by Leshurr between verses, is catchy and easy. “Step In The Dance” ends with a surprise verse that pounds with the tinny sounds of jungle drums and a heavy rolling bass that smoothly reverberates below.

It’s exciting times for both Mike Delinquent Project and Lady Leshurr. Following the success of his chart topping remixes for the likes of Pixie Lott’s and Wretch 32, Mike Delinquent Project looks set to take the charts by storm again. Leshurr is well on her wicked way up the musical ladder too, fuelled by her feisty flow and UK grit you’ll be sure to see her smashing her way to the top of her game very soon.

Our absolutely huge remix package kicks off with a supercharged big room mix from The Wideboys, whose Electro House stylings take things in a more commercial dance floor direction with a massive breakdown that pushes it into forward thinking territory.

Major Look raise the bpms for a drumstep rework that embraces the vocals (and even add some of their own), yet keep the bass dirty and driving! Zed Bias is back on remix duties, this time in Maddslinky mode for a 4x4 deep groover for early doors or late night heads down sets. Compound One strips things back vocally and keeps the bassline low for his take on "Mama Said", turning in an atmospheric darker house vibe.

Heads up all northern crew, Chris Gresswell in partnership with Mike Delinquent brings his bassline house stylings to the package, showing maximum respect for KCAT and Mikill's vocals, but keeping the groove dirty and driving.

Mike Delinquent, one of the staple names in the current UK producer & DJ scene, is into his 14th year in the music industry. He initially followed his music dream by co-founding production act Delinquent. 

Following countless remixes, notably Usher (Caught Up), Ciara (1,2 Step)  Timbaland ft Missy (Cop That S**t), and a top 20 Uk chart hit with "My Destiny" feat Kcat, Mike decided to go solo and produce under the name Mike Delinquent Project in 2010.

Having forefathered the 'bassline' sound which took the UK by storm between 2003 and 2008, Mike began offering his own take on the classic UK Garage sound. His remix of Wretch 32's "Traktor" in late 2010 received plaudits from industry peers & djs alike. Fittingly, it was the first Garage record to receive national radio attention since his own “My Destiny” from only a few years before.

Upon spinning various MDP remixes on her Radio 1 show, Annie Mac referenced Mike to be “bringing garage back’. Consequently, Mike had re-ignited his reputation as one of the industry's most sought after remixers. Successful remixes of Ms Dynamite's "Neva Soft”, Sneakbo's "The Wave" amongst others, raised his profile further and later resulted in Mike penning a 1 album deal with independent label Champion Records. Singles "Out Of Control" (ft Kcat & Donae'o), "Step In The Dance" ft Lady Leshurr, & "Mama Said" ft Kcat & Mikill Pane were released between 2011 & 2013. Mike also linked up with U.S RnB legend Usher for a 2nd time, remixing "Numb" which became a Top 40 hit in several countries across the world.

 The MDP has also had the honour of filling in for DJ EZ several times on Kiss radio too. These stints resulted in Mike being the first specialist presenter to be approached for the Kiss Radio network’s newest sister station Kiss Fresh.
2014 saw Mike expand his remix repertoire to the internationally known J-Lo, Nicole Scherzinger and Little Mix while releasing his final two singles with Champion Records featuring the Grime Godfather, Wiley ("Wiggle") and Terri Walker ("Tension"). 
A national CD compilation "Garage Nation" was also released by Warner featuring Mike in collaboration with Matt Lam Lamont, peaking at No10 in the iTunes Chart. 

Mike launched own imprint Zeus Sound in 2015 geared towards pushing not only his own material, but of other up and coming producers too. It is a monthly podcast, label and club event focused 100% on new music. The Shadow EP was some of Mike’s most honest Bass driven work to date, created while he was in a dark place, with music soundtracking and helping him through that period of time. His remix duties were sought after once again by U.S group Fifth Harmony (“Worth It”).

2016 saw Mike come firing out of the blocks, working with Formula Records at the legendary Fabric nightclub, as well as DJing at Eskimo Dance, and firmly holding his own as a leading Bass music Producer/DJ. An album release followed via Champion Records entitled "Bridging The Gap" seeing previous releases with Wiley, Lady Leshurr and Donae'o being re-issued with newer offerings alongside Scrufizzer, C4, and Daniel De Bourg.

Mike has moved into 2017 re-inventing the live DJ set as it as known, claiming the title of being "the only Guitar-Playing DJ in the country". 

What started simply as an experiment, has turned into a regular feature of Mike's live performances, building a direct close rapport with his audience in the process.

Live gigs at sold out venues in Amsterdam, Prague, London's Scala & the 02, and the legendary Rainbow Venues in Birmingham have seen the MDP continue to solidify his main stage status whilst bringing something completely unique to each show.

The year looks even more promising as Mike releases an EP in March called "The Catalyst EP" (Zeus Sound) and calls on P Money, Olivia Louise, Flirta D and Scrufizzer for collaborations.
