In 2016, I was working at an electronics store where this track kept playing. Back then, I was deliberately avoiding pop music — but Sia’s voice cut through everything and stayed with me.

Eight years later, I stumbled upon the acapella and recorded the first demo of this remix that same evening.

This is the first in a series of reworks of tracks that left a mark on me. All of them will be available for free download.

A tight 2-step rhythm quickly sets the stage before the full breadth of summertime warmth comes into play. Flume-esque in it’s approach to the sound aesthetic, but with a modern UKG flavor.  This track is primed to be the backdrop for some memorable summer moments you look back on fondly someday.
