Stefano Ritteri is a true gift to music, with his Italian charm and passion he has ignited the world of house and techno. 

Stefano is not a new name in the game, former aliases have seen him hold residencies at clubs such as Fabric in London and release on the elite of house labels such as Dirtybird and Sound Pellegrino. More recently Stefano's label accreditation includes Pets Recordings, Exploited, Viva, Rockets & Ponies and Saved, this music has led to outstanding international gigs and a string of high profiled remixes. From Stefano's music affair his own Congaloid vision was born, spawning one of the hottest new labels in house music. 

Ritteri currently resides in London building his empire under the smoke filled city and studio space. For our first episode, we proudly present to you the founder of "Seven Villas", a component of Pulshar duo and co-founder of "Avantroots Records". He's got more than a decade of experience in which he achieves the world respect thanks to his essential works, elegance and good taste. Pablo was born to create music, always with an attitude, always with quality as a standard.

The Villa is an underground club sanctuary in Oslo that has quickly achieved a reputable status thanks to a consistent run of interesting, current, and cutting-edge bookings. Located in the center of Oslo, The Villa provides a place where people are able to come, leave their inhibitions at the door, and dance the night away to the beats of both national and international respected DJs.

Since its opening in 2007, The Villa has been voted by both DJ Mag and Resident Advisor to be amongst the 100 best clubs in the world.

PLANETARY ASSAULT SYSTEMS - LIVE AT COCOON IBIZA - CORMIX060

This year’s highly anticipated ‘Live at Cocoon Ibiza’ mix is helmed by techno legend Luke Slater under his Planetary Assault Systems guise. 

As Planetary Assault Systems, UK titan Luke Slater has constantly laid down a blueprint for the future of techno. As a live performer he is a visionary who fuses mind melting minimalism, catchy cyborg funk and cinematic soundscapes that really take you on a trip. He did that once again back in July as part of Cocoon's 20th anniversary season and now the results are laid down on CD for us to relive the magic. 

Over the course of eighty spellbinding minutes, Slater captivates with evocative sci-fi imagery and high class melodic minimalism, smoothly shifting from moments of high pressure drum-funk intensity to uplifting and spiritual passages of cosmic sound and back again. Along the way, he digs deep into his back catalogue to serve up plenty of golden oldies as well as more contemporary cuts, and the whole thing melts together into a timeless set that explores the outer edges of techno with huge amounts of both style and substance. 

Debuting on Cocoon with a rare appearance outside of Slater’s usual labels Ostgut Ton and his own Mote Evolver, a 12” release drops in unison with the mix including four Planetary Assault Systems productions: on one side both 'RAWW’ and 'RUN' are exclusive studio versions, whilst on the flip are live versions of 'Desert Races' and 'Give It Up' featuring live sax by Tim Ower, offering some of techno's finest moments, while the mix itself is an essential testament to the forward looking nature of not only Cocoon Ibiza, but also Luke Slater himself.
