Marquis Hill - The Essence

Starting my Senior year in college I wrote Theme and Background music for network sports broadcasts.  When I was 24-25 I submitted a theme song for the 1988 Summer Olympics.  It was selected by the committee to be used as the theme.  I waited a week or two for the contract and to negotiate the price.  Then, I heard the bad news.  They decided to ask John Williams if they could use his '84 Theme again.  But, this remains the only piece written for and selected as the Theme of the '88 Summer Olympics.  This is a partial version from a cassette transfer so the quality is not super.
