This is a warm, gentle house track 118bpm with an organic evolving groove, rich bass and percussive elements. I was trying to evoke pastoral settings here, seeing the sunlight refracted through tree canopies as you cruise down the highway on a warm sunny day without a care in the world. 
By including airy sounding higher synth pads, delicate string swells, and movement of the filter cutoff on the lead synth, I aim to recreate the sounds of the wind moving through the trees and rustling the leaves with a soft breeze.

Shadows

A techno track at 126bpm with excerpts from JFK's inspiring inaugural presidential speech. Deep dubby and rumble sounds in the first half of the track create a moody atmosphere before and energetic vibe shift to an acid bass uptempo close to the song that starts at 03:26 and builds to a climax at 04:27. This song is inspired by the optimism and excitement of the space race in the 1960s.

This a dreamy and panoramic organic electronic song with bass nature sounds, warm and powerful bass synths, crisp drums, and a light airy female vocal line. Organic orchestral percussive elements appear in the middle sections before a gentle fade out with vocal and synth lines that dynamically float in an out like waves crashing against the shore at sunset.

Mike Galvin began his musical journey with classical training before being drawn into the underground rave scene in Dublin, Ireland in the 2000s after a brief spell playing in indie bands. Further inspiration was drawn from an appreciation of jazz and improvisational styles, epic movie scores, and the kinetic beats of the Berlin and Detroit house music and techno scenes before a move to Toronto in 2015.

He has played session guitar on releases and remixes by Canadian artists, and has composed scores for film including the award winning Irish short film “A Silence Between”.

He now draws upon these influences to create unique soundscapes that evoke a nostalgia for the introspective comedown after long nights of dancing, and a longing for the acceptance and embrace of close friends.
