A very deep chill out mix I did one day with some of my favourite sort of b-side records as an off the cuff thing for me to listen to when chilling out on a sunday after a night out.
Gave it out to some friends and they gave it to their friends, etc., and it ended up being one of my most popular mixes. 
Recorded around 2001 so sorry for the low bitrate!

Bumpin 2 - 2002

First mix I ever recorded as a mix CD, back in the year 2000. All my mixtapes prior to this have sadly been lost to the wind, so this is the earliest recording I still have of any of my mixes. 

The title was meant to convey the idea of a musical journey starting out quite deep (San Fran style) and then progressing to some Chicago-esque stuff, and then back again. Formative mix for me! Enjoy!

San Francisco to Chicago: Return - 2000

Mixe in summer of 2002, including some of the best tunes I was spinning around that time, with a couple of old funk tracks overlaid for fun. 

The title refers to the thermodynamics concept of an adiabatic + reversible process. This kind of process is indistinguishable in time backwards or forward; that is the process could happen either forward or backward in time with no real way to tell the difference. It's the kind of the vibe embodied by my mixes where I try to start things kinda deep, progress to some party ish, and then wind it back down. 

Front to back = Back to front? 
Something like that.

Isentropic Flow - Summer 2002

Mix from 2001, and I think the second mix cd I ever did.
Like most of my mixes, I'd like to to think it works front to back or back to front, so to speak. In that vein, the title refers to parallel lines of direction that nevertheless intersect - at a beginning and an end, like the lines of longitude on a sphere. What goes around comes around?
