A Sonnet written by Jessica Wolf for Felicia Willow:

“Felicia in Joshua”

Soft lips brush against a weathered picture
Memories are framed by a hasty hinge
A blush descends, concocting a tincture
Her gaze grants grace to the lunatic fringe

Clouds outside calibrate a lithe landscape
Inside, flashing lights pulse, beats shape and dance
The needle scratches, pauses, sounds take shape
Cameras click, a wild pony does prance

Warm wet bodies merge with an express train 
Sunrise blasts pink feathered wings to the west
Releases light back to the earthbound’s claim
Hearts, minds and hope find comfort at her breast

The past is now; tomorrow is humble
There is safety in the silver numbers
