If a track you submitted does not appear in this list, it’s probably because another of your tracks appeared in our Fresh Faves or on the BBC Music Introducing Mixtape during the last three months — we ask that artists featured on either wait three months before resubmitting to give others a chance. 

We also don’t accept short previews or SoundCloud Go tracks that can only be heard as 30 second previews, and tracks made private after submission, which cannot be included in playlists. You will be able to resubmit the track in future. Tracks (and remixes of tracks) that have been previously submitted, and tracks from banned artists will also be removed.

Cryptostegia - Switches V

Ecstatic present the sublime second release from Mancunian duo Celestial, 'Listen To The Sky' offers a quiet fusion of Balearic blues and kosmische influences follows up their mesmerizing 2021 debut "I Had Too Much To Dream Last Night"'. 

Evoking a rich sonic palette of evocative guitar instrumentals with echoes of Mike Oldfield's Tubular Bells and Frippertronics , Celestial deftly forge their own gentle and uncluttered fusion of acoustic and electric guitar textures with immersive environmental synthetic washes. 

Opener 'Brother Sun, Sister Moon' pairs Celestial with fellow dreamer and labelmate Romance (who also provide additional production flourishes throughout the record) for a stunning piece of modern chamber music wreathed with strident electric guitar, piano, horns and electronics, oceans of hiss bathe 'To The Green Mountains' plagent synth bass and meditative Paris, Texas esque guitar figures while 'Four Temparaments' provides an uncharacteristically but welcome clangorous and urgent new age lament. 

'Listen To The Sky's sun-drenched soundscapes and ethereal productions unfold with a kaleidoscopic and nostalgic ennui tenderly captured on fragile AGFA tap providing a mesmeric deep listening experience that skews to the mythic and trancendental.

I wrote this song as an ode to sleep. A request for sleep. A need for sleep. In the darkness of the early days of young babies, sleep was the only thing I could think about. It was everything. And still it remains the answer to most of life's problems.

I recorded all the parts at home. Rosanna Schura joins me with some haunting vocals. I particularly like the freeform section at the end, where the song drifts aimlessly around like a middle aged musician in a sleepy village.

'Here's Your Life, Enjoy' is Jewelia’s first single after the release of her album Little Wins last year (which received accolades from Clash Magazine, The Daily Star, FAULT, Notion, Wonderland and many others). 

The new song marks a shift from pop to an alt-rock sound with 00s pop-punk influences. Jewelia is reminiscing about the past while channeling her inner rebel to break through childhood conditioning and live life on her own terms.

This is the first of several tracks recorded with her band, and part of a future EP called 'If not now, then when?'. 

In April 2025, Jewelia is set to embark on her first UK tour with her band (London, Manchester, Birmingham, Southampton and Brighton).
