A Velvet Underground inspired track.  If it was Lou Reed, he'd be singing about a funky, streetwise black girl.  My song is about chocolate éclairs, as the only place I've been a lot the last year is the grocery store, including the bake shop :)

A Gary Numan-like song about the past two years of the pandemic.  All recorded live off the floor into a reel-to-reel, then thrown into the computer. Almost an all-analogue production.

Being stuck in the house I hardly see anyone; the only people I see besides my family are those in the grocery store, and they're all masked and far away. It's like we're a bunch of faceless automatons.

A song I recorded by a fantastic vocalist who was looking to create a portfolio, in order to establish herself as a remote/in-person session vocalist.

My song along the line of "Transmission" by Joy Division.  The lyrics are a homage to Attack Of The Killer Tomatoes and Mars Attacks; in both films the aliens are vanquished in a similar way.

This is a repost of a poorly mixed version of this song.  It has a bit of tape hiss at the end, but still sounds way better than the original version.

A song inspired by a conversation with my kid, who works at a bank.  A fellow came looking for a loan, so my kid looked at the guy's bank account and noticed he spent a few hundred dollars on OnlyFans every month.  

If he curbed that expense he wouldn't need a loan :)

I write songs that pop into my head in no particular genre.  

I also run Happy Chipmunk Recording Studio in west-end Ottawa; probably one of the best equipped home studios in town, with high-end mics and an all-analogue front end, a baby grand piano, and I can record to tape.  I focus on acoustic artists, voiceover professionals, and makers of audiobooks.  

I also like to help out talented musicians that don't have the budget to work in a purpose-built studio, but who care about the quality of their releases nonetheless.
