Mike James Live Part 3

Mike James (Michael James Prevost Brito), was born in Leytonstone, London United Kingdom.

He grew up listening to all kinds of music, directly influenced by his father (DJ / Singer) heard from black music such as Soul, Motown and R & B, to most Latin rhythms such as reggae or salsa, but not until the age of 12 when he discovers what has marked much of his life, house music.
Since he was 15 years, motivated by his concern and passion, he began to take its first steps in a club run by his uncle and was called "Disco Triangle", and always with a very distinctive style.
DJ's like Roger Sanchez, Erick Morillo, Carl Cox and Daft Punk among others, helped to define his style, and so continued, between various clubs and private parties.
In 2010 and with the support of his family left the island to move to the south of Tenerife and thus able to engage work solely as a DJ.
It is here where he has been playing in clubs like "Tramps", "Tibu","Casablanca", "Seduction Air","Bobby´s","Joyce","Sugareef","Bla Bla Bla Dico" and "Level Club".
In December 2010, Da Whipp worked several nights at London's iconic Hyde Park park before more than 2000 people.
For some time he worked with Galaxy FM radio station in Tenerife, with his Radioshow "G Force", which was airs three times per week lasting 2 hours each, which varies from many styles of House such as Progressive, Funky, Dutch, Tribal House, Tech House and more current.
In 2012 Mike James moved back to UK, to progress as a DJ and producer as well, to gain experience and follow his passion, over in the UK he has played in clubs as "Pacha London", "Buddha Lounge" (alongside "Prok and Fitch"), "Platform 7" and "Yates´s Romford".
Summer 2012 was the first time he played in Ibiza, at "Play2" for "Twisted Fusion" party, also performed at the festival "House Nation 2012" alongside "Joan Reyes" y "DJ Leon Cormack" which was in La Palma.
2013 Mike James worked several nights at "Papagayo Beach Club" and "El Faro" alongside DJs like Jacobo Padilla and DJ Jenny, summer 2013 he´s still working on several projects in Ibiza, DJing at Play2 for 2wisted Fusion, Kanya and Hush for Dirty Funk and Traffik, also he´s been working on music production, touring and some of them to be confirmed...

Creció escuchando todo tipo de música, directamente influido por su padre (DJ / Cantante) tales como Soul, Motown y el R & B y ritmos más latinos como el reggae o la salsa, pero no fue hasta la edad de 12 cuando él descubre lo que ha marcado gran parte de su vida, la música house.
Desde que tenía 15 años, motivado por su pasión, comenzó a dar sus primeros pasos en un club dirigido por su tío que se llamaba "Discoteca Triángulo", y siempre con un estilo muy distintivo.
DJs como Roger Sanchez, Erick Morillo, Carl Cox y Daft Punk, entre otros, ayudaron a definir su estilo, y así continuó, entre varios clubes y fiestas privadas.
En 2010, con el apoyo de su familia se traslada al sur de Tenerife para así poder dedicarse exclusivamente a su trabajo como DJ.
Es aquí donde ha estado trabajando en clubes como "Tramps", "Tibu", "Casablanca", "Seduction Air", "Bobby´s", "Joyce", "Sugareef", "Disco Bla Bla Bla", " Level Club", y "Discoteca Big Ben".
En diciembre de 2010, Da Whipp trabajado varias noches en Londres en el icónico parque de Hyde Park ante más de 2000 personas.

En 2012 Mike James regresó a Reino Unido, para progresar como DJ y productor, así, adquirir experiencia y seguir su pasión, allá en el Reino Unido que ha trabajado en clubes como "Pacha London", "Buddha Lounge" (junto a "Prok Fitch"), "Platform 7" y "Yates Romford".
Verano de 2012 fue la primera vez que trabajó en Ibiza, en "Play2" para la fiesta "Twisted Fusion", también actuó en el festival "House Nation 2012" que tuvo lugar en La Palma.
En 2013 Mike James regresa a la isla de Tenerife, ha trabajado en locales tan importantes como "Papagayo Beach Club" y "El Faro", habiendo compartido cabina con DJs de la talla de Jacobo Padilla y DJ Jenny, en verano de ese mismo año se traslada a la isla de Ibiza, habiendo trabajado en locales como Play2 para la fiesta 2wisted Fusion, Kanya y Hush para Dirty Funk y Traffik, continúa trabajando en varios proyectos, producción musical, giras y algún otro proyecto por confirmar ...
