Adonis DNA - Love Removal Machine (cover of The Cult)

This is a cover of Billy Squier's Lonely is the Night performed by various rock musicians from the Sacramento area. The entire song was completely recorded, engineered, mixed and mastered by me at-home for a school lab project for my Fall 2012 recording class at American River College. I consider this my first legitimate at-home recording since it's the first without me as a performer and using live mic'd drums and guitar. I am currently looking at beginning a recording business - details soon.

Original song by Alice in Chains on their album Black Gives Way to Blue. Ever since I heard the original power ballad I've loved it, so I decided to do a very stripped down cover. All piano, guitar and vocals done by me. Hope you enjoy as much as I like the original!

This song is more of a technical demo I guess. I just decided to have fun with it. I tried to stay more faithful to the original in this one as far as composition and did a little jamming. This will be the last AIC song I do.
