Hey what’s up everybody!? This is a 1h live recording of my set at Stereo After-hours in Montreal Canada for the bi-monthly residency of Party Monsters. For this month, Party Monsters visited Tokyo with an outstanding oriental inspired décor and jammed pack dance-floor of 600 people!! The set was recorded live with a condenser mic that resulted in a lower quality recording, however, after 15 minutes of listening, you immediately begin to feel the incredible vibe and energy of the crowed making it one of my most memorable sets to date. So I hope you enjoy my 1h mix of Techno slamming that was recorded between 6-7AM in one of North Americas most Notorious clubs and more will be posted after my gig with the legendary PAN-POT on Sept. 13. 2013 :) See you on the dance-floor!

Hello Everyone! This is a live recording of my set that I played at Stereo Afterhours in Montréal on June 1st  for the new bi-monthly residency of Party Monsters. This particular set is a deviation from my usual dark influenced techno. Since it was my first time playing in stereo, a club that has greatly shaped and influenced my musical direction for many years, I decided to play a set that told a story of my long lasting relationship with this incredible place. The set begins with a couple of deep-house tracks containing some techno elements that slowly work up too a mix of percussive and groovy tech-house/techno. The second part of the set keeps that groove and moves to a more rhythmic techno section filled with lots of energy and custom mashups/edits. For the climax of the set (from 4:00pm-5:30pm) I decided to go to my roots and play some dark tribal and techno classics to pay homage to all the countless incredible and memorable nights i'v had at stereo throughout the years. I hope you enjoy :)

From having his tracks played at festivals like Time Warp and Igloofest to Europe’s most notorious dance-floors like Berghain, Amnesia, Elrow, and Coco Rico; Mike Laz’s music stirs minds and shakes souls as Techno should. Born into electronic music through various channels, Mike Laz found his rhythm and sound as a resident DJ at Circus Afterhours (19th Best Club, DJ MAG 2012) playing alongside the likes of Joseph Capriati, Gary Beck, Alex Bau, Sasha Carassi, D-Unity, and more. Today, he holds a residency at the internationally renowned musical haven, Stereo Montreal (14th Best Club, DJ MAG 2010) performing with artists such as Chris Liebing, Alan Fitzpatrick, Joseph Capriati, Radio Slave, Pan Pot, Monoloc, Matador, Dustan Zahn, Egbert, Ilario Alicante, Alex Niggerman, and Oliver Huntemann just to name a few.
