This was just another Idea I had to explore the history of the islands.    This song is full of quotes and sayings that are used in the islands -- the Wisdom of the Islands.

This song is mostly about a fun joke...I guess you had to be there.    One time we were snorkeling (I think at St Maarten), and there were Pelicans around, but I accidently called them Penguins and everyone had a fun time!!   LOL.

This project is part of our Vision Board to retire to living part time in the Islands by 2027.    This song is basically the theme song.   It lists some of our favorite places and invites you to spend time in the islands.

This was another idea I had about "secret islands".   What are the islands that most tourist don't go to?    I hope we can visit many of these in the future.

This song is inspired by some of the legends of the islands.   Part of spending time there is looking into the history of the islands.    There are some really cool stories of warriors or special people on some islands.

This is definitely the theme song for Bermuda.   I wrote this just before we went there for the 3rd time.  We did a lot of research of what we wanted to see - most of it is in this song.   I hope to hear this at a tiki bar in Bermuda some day.

in California when we lived in Los Banos, we always dodge the tomatoes spilled from farm trucks. the mosquitoes in the fall were deadly. you sometimes couldn't see out the windshield due to the number of them. our neighbors Bob and Eleanor came over on Friday nights to play cards. it was a nice little town. close to the giant redwoods we could drive thru.

Originally this was not sung by a female, but I liked this version the best.   Sometimes, my own songs don't sound right when I sing them.

10 years in the making. Lyrics written by my father David. I had figured out the chorus and some of the verse melody, but I struggled with actually putting it together. Finally, technology has caught up to what I wanted to do.

This song was a response to a morning Bible study I was reading through.   I was having trouble and I just said out loud, "Jesus, Talk to me".    As I studied more and more, the words for the chorus just came together.   
The verses were put together by looking for solutions to the problems i could identify.

This was a fun song for Oliver - taken from the picture that Robyn took with a 2 liter soda bottle next to him to show how small he was.    The chorus just popped into my head and I knew it had to be jazzy.   It ended up sounding like a 90s TV theme song.   LOL

Been having some medical issues lately but Melissa has been my rock to lean on. I tried looking online to analyze my symptoms and I took notes what I saw. afterward when I looked at the notes, it looked like a song to me. So this was the result.   Melissa is still my greatest Muse.

this is the very 1st song I wrote when I was 14. I have updated it a bit and finally got it recorded. obviously there were no mobile phones or wifi back then, but this fits better to the time and contrast to a caveman.

I Like Rain

Periodically Melissa will wonder how and why I still love her after all these years. Songs used to be the way I was able to communicate my feelings best but for many years I lost that energy. Lately I've been getting it back. mostly thanks to these apps that allow me to actually release the song I can hear in my head.
