We ALL know how hard it can be to find a good top line, right? Ads in the white pages….pleas for help on Facebook…….etc etc

But in true Club Sweat spirit, this stalwart of the Melbourne (cool) club scene, jacked a sample of a baby crying and turned it into one of the hookiest, quirkiest party tech tunes we've had the pleasure of releasing, funnily enough, called "Cry Baby.".

And the b side, "You Don't Call Me" - another party tech-bomb - may or may not be the pained longings of the vocalist he never called when he didn't reply to the ad he never placed.

Either way, we're just paying royalties to Mike and thanking him for the dope tunes.

What a well polished little gem it is too! - Entrusting singing duties to Stahsi, whose silky vocals perfectly complement the disco-infused guitar licks laid down by Simon Milan. With production as crisp as a Granny Smith, it culminates to an aural fruit bowl of indie-pop goodness. And we're all quietly and politely proud to be able to stamp the Medium Rare imprint on it. 

At first glance, you may think Mike Metro is the lovechild of Edward Scissorhands and Count Dracula. Upon closer inspection, you'll discover that Mike Metro is just a solid dude that writes bass-driven house music out of the spare bedroom at his grandmother's home in South-East Melbourne. He likes to play his music to lots of people at clubs and festivals Australia wide, and releases music on labels like One Love, Sweat It Out, and of course Medium Rare.

Halloween is just around the corner, and not being ones to shy away from festivities at the ol’ MRR office, we’ve put together Mike Metro's new single ‘Haunted House’ - just in time for those dark dingy dress up parties you’ll all be playing at on the 31st. Much like it’s producer, it’s a little different, a little creepy, and just a little bit awesome. (PS - what is that wailing cat noise and where do we get one?)

Remixes have come in hot, with Wongo pulling his usual amazing rabbit out the hat (wonky wonderful weirdness) and Rob Pix toughening it up a notch pace and energy wise with a peak-time belter.
