Mike Myers has been in the Dallas EDM scene for nearly ten years. He is known for his unique blend of uplifting Trance, Breakbeats, Dubstep, Chill, House, B-more, Electro, and Progressive sounds. Starting as a producer and musician in 2004, Mike has carried his talent and passion for music from the age of seven to becoming a DJ in 2008. After creating 8020 Productions, he accepted a residency from Zephyrs in uptown Dallas, TX. He has since been booked at such venues as Hotel Capri, Montaisia, and the world famous Lizard Lounge to name a few. Playing alongside well-known Djs from Groovepusher Productions as well as DJ Big T, Kaz, DJ NRG, and Joe C, Mike has been able to sharpen his art to a mastery level. When Mike decided to surrender his life to Christ, he quickly turned from the secular scene to concentrate on the Christian music community. He found a ministry avenue that sparked a new interest for him. Saving him from a life of sin and destruction, the Lord has redirected Mike’s talent to fulfill His purpose and more specifically His Great Commission. Now, as an up-and-coming Christian DJ, Mike has recently created Great Commission Records and plans to use his music to reach the lost and strengthen the faith of the many. In addition to his musical career, Mike is working to complete his degree in Biblical Studies to augment his lay ministry. Mike also volunteers for local charities and is a Disaster Action Team member for the American Red Cross where he has received the Presidential Volunteer Service Award.
