This is a cover of "It's Catching Up" originally written, recorded,  and performed by Canadian Punk Rock Greats "NO MEANS NO". This is the first time this track has been released (Mar '15, previously un-released and recorded in 2003). It was not released on the full-length album "Step One In The Systematic Decline of Humanity" (2003) that it was intended to be released on. For the first time, you can hear it right here in honor of the great NMN!

Groovin' For a Lost Cause

Michael Wayne Orris, Jr was born on July 16, 1985 and started playing the drums at the age of four. He started playing the guitar and bass at the age of ten, discovering a passion and natural inclination on these instruments also.

His first band “Existence” was formed when he was nine years old, and the band consisted primarily of an extreme, technical, and metallic sound. Existence experienced a good amount of regional exposure.

At the age of seventeen, Michael won Modern Drummer’s “Undiscovered Drummer Contest” in the under eighteen division and was invited to play the 2003 Modern Drummer Festival.

In the months following the Modern Drummer Festival Michael produced a project called “Eightimesover”. They performed regionally in support of the first recording.

In 2004 Michael had the opportunity to tour briefly with John Lee Hooker, Jr. He also has years of experience in the Top 40 casino and working entertainment circuits.

Michael performed several tours with metallic hardcore band First Blood in support of their debut full-length album "Killafornia" in 2006 (supporting Comeback Kid, Ignite, Sick Of It All, and others). Mike performed a short stint again in 2009 for the "Groezrock Festival" in Belgium, and a local SF, CA date at the DNA Lounge (opening for Earth Crisis) shortly after. Toured again (briefly) in June of 2018 (supporting Walls Of Jericho).

Played with Last of the Believers on their first tour supporting The Circle Jerks in 2008. LOTB touring line-up consisted of members who also played in Rise Against, Ignite, and Outspoken. Project was short lived unfortunately due to reasons beyond Mike's control.
